Ponta de São Lourenço

A narrow volcanic peninsula reaches east into the Atlantic, with bare slopes, dark cliffs and sea on both sides. Its dry, open ground looks sharply different from Madeira’s green hills, and a footpath follows the ridge toward the pointed coast.
