Glazed tiles cover the tomb of Afzal Khan Shirazi, a Persian poet and scholar who served as Shah Jahan’s chief minister. Built in 1635 beside the Yamuna, it uses Persian-style tile work instead of the white marble seen on many Agra tombs.
