Gothic Quarter

The Gothic Quarter features a complex network of narrow streets, many of which are closed to regular traffic. Within this maze, you can find remnants of the city's ancient Roman wall alongside various medieval landmarks. El Call, the historic Jewish quarter, adds to the rich tapestry of this area, which showcases Barcelona's oldest sections, despite much of the architecture being from the 19th and early 20th centuries.
