National Museum of Art

Most of the museum’s galleries lie underground, beneath a tall steel entrance that rises like a bundle of metal reeds. The hidden rooms hold modern and contemporary art from Japan and elsewhere, while the sculptural structure stands above the Nakanoshima complex.
