Mather Point

Kaibab Limestone here is broken into large blocks and pocked with erosion holes, its horizontal layers mostly buff or tan-white. From the South Rim, the view runs north across Granite Gorge into Bright Angel Canyon, with Isis Temple, Cheops Pyramid and Zoroaster Temple aligned beyond.
