Its 3,975-person capacity includes 175 standing-room spaces. Opened in 1966, the house replaced the Metropolitan Opera’s 1883 building at Broadway and 39th Street. Wallace K. Harrison designed this Lincoln Center theater, which also hosts American Ballet Theatre in summer.
