Its five towers rise above a sandstone temple built as a Hindu shrine to Vishnu, then used as a Buddhist site. A broad moat surrounds the galleries, whose carved walls show scenes from the Mahabharata and Ramayana. Unlike most Khmer temples, the main entrance faces west.
