Arashiyama Bamboo Grove

Bamboo stalks form dense walls on both sides of the path, their segmented green trunks rising far above eye level. The grove spreads across the hills of Arashiyama, where narrow gaps between the culms reveal flashes of sky and the surrounding woodland.
